Collect the deposit when you add a lease
Adding a lease now takes five steps: basics, tenants, payments and deposit, document and signing, then a final review. You can record a deposit collected outside Kera, or collect it online with the first rent invoice or on its own invoice.

For tenants
From the lease's deposit card, apply a last month's rent deposit to the final month's rent, or let Kera apply it when the lease ends. Any shortfall is billed as a final month balance, and tenants see their last month marked as covered.
